Oskeruše je strom, který jen tak někde nenajdete. Naše oskeruše je dcerou té nejstarší v Buchlovicích, která roste v zahradě u sousedů.
The sorb tree is a rare tree that comes straight from here, from South Moravia. Here in our country we just call it "Oskeruša". It has fragrant fruits that are better left to set for a while to get really sweet. They make a wonderful marmalade and you must try probably one of the rarest spirits – oskerušovica. Our sorb tree is only a few decades old, but a few kilometres away you will find probably the oldest in the Czech Republic, Adamec's sorb tree, which is 400 years old.
The alley on Chrasťovka – In Buchlovice, on the old road to Buchlov, the so-called Chrasťovka, a new alley of sorb trees was planted years ago by local gardeners. The seedlings have already become full-grown trees, which create a unique group of sorb trees not only within our region, but also within Europe. You can find the way to it on our private map of magical (unknown beautiful) places in the area.
